I recently bought these shoes to replace an old pair of boating shoes. The style is what initially caught my eye, but I was pleased that they felt comfortable from the first time I wore them. The soles grip very well, too. I have narrow feet and usually wear a narrow shoe, but these Sperry Top-Siders are medium width and they fit very well.
Wears this shoe: Whenever I go boating, which is almost every weekend.

I love the versatile nature of this shoe - it's a timeless style and always appropriate. I love the padding of the tongue of the shoe and the inside of the shoe in general is very soft and comfortable against the skin. I did find some minor rubbing of the area where the rawhide lace goes through against my foot but not to the point of blistering, and they have improved already so while it is actually comfortable from the box those with sensitive skin may need a short break in period. Also I find wearing any shoe even those like boat shoes or sandals which are typically worn without socks with a sock for the first week or so helps enormously to mold the shoe to your foot with out going through blisters and rubbed spots. I am already looking for other styles I want to get in boat shoes. I'm sorry it took me nearly 20 years to finally get boat shoes for myself!
Wears this shoe: Any time but mostly with capris or crop pants without a sock
