I'm on my fourth pair of Clarks Biofix sandals. Each pair has lasted about two years. Because they aren't sold in half sizes I buy the next largest size - 10 in my case. They're heavy, rugged soles, have firm cushioning and work well with my sensitive feet. Wear them daily to walk and bicycle in all summer/early fall. Have no complaints. No other brand has come close to the Clarks. Highly recommend them.

The straps on these sandals are comfortably padded so there is no chafing, but the sole is extremely stiff and it has taken awhile to get them broken in. I had hoped to use them for hiking and general walking, but the stiffness makes prolonged walking rather uncomfortable.
