This is my first pair of Birkentock shoes. These FloridaNubuck w/Soft Footbed Sandles are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had. I usually wear custom full orthotics, but they're not necessary with these shoes. I have bunions on both sides of both feet and I have poor arches. I also have corns and calouses and hammer toes. It is difficult for me to buy shoes. These are the BEST, buy them, you will love them. These look great too. The soft footbed is great and it keeps my toes where they are supposed to be and the deep heel keeps my foot in place very well and comfortably. My feet never slide around in this shoe, it fits perfectly. I don't get pain in my legs or feet. My feet don't sweat on the bottom. I usually wear size 8 1/2 in women's, I wear 39 in Berkinstocks.
Wears this shoe: All the time, inside and outside of the house.

I had an old pair that were over 5 years old. I still wear the old pair but after many times of getting soaked and worn in all conditions they were getting a little scruffy looking. I wear orthotic inserts in my other shoes but don't need them in my Birkenstocks.
Wears this shoe: I live in Florida and wear them everywhere and just about year round.
Once they wear in... they will be great... now they hurt.

I had these shoes before and wore those so much that they are falling apart. I LOVE my shoes.The straps on the new pair rub my feet and I can't wear them for very long. I don't remember them being this bad- but I hope that they will get better. I will continue to wear them and keep my fingers crossed.

Wish I'd discovered these shoes ages ago! I have plantar faciitis & was in such pain until I started wearing these fabulous shoes! The soft footbed is wonderful & within a few weeks of buying my first pair I purchased another. Forget slippers! One pair is now strictly for indoor! Years of wearing flip flops have ruined my feet, but now I know that one needs good support and these shoes definitely are a life saver for me. Thank you Birkenstock!
